South Richmond Plant
The South Richmond Quarry is located just south of downtown Richmond and adjacent to The James River. This operation was acquired from The Florida Rock Corporation in March of 2008. Products produced here are shipped by truck to the local market. This site is also used to transload materials from truck to barge for shipments to the South Hampton Roads market.

The City of Richmond and the counties of Chesterfield and Henrico.
Geology:
The South Richmond Quarry is termed a Petersburg Granite and believed to be over 330 million years old.
