Throughout the past decade, Luck Specialty Products has evolved into a business enterprise that sets the standards upon which all other industry products and businesses are compared. Our soils materials have been widely accepted and enthusiastically used to build athletic fields, repair home lawns, or build bio-retention basins. Additionally, our infield soil used to construct baseball and softball skinned athletic surfaces is ranked the number one material for this category within the Mid-Atlantic.
The Mid-Atlantic
In the late 1990’s, collaborative efforts and creative minds within Luck Stone saw an opportunity to define uses for much of the overburden soil material that is on top of rock deposits. Core sampling began to determine the located textural analysis of the soils present at our quarry sites. In Greene County, Virginia, soil scientists identified the foundational base material for the purpose of manufacturing quality products to meet the growing needs of the market.
