These larger grade stones are excellent for use around construction sites, especially for erosion control, new driveway bedding, choking and bridging in muddy areas and stabilizing parking areas. Also good as filter stone for sewage plant clarifiers, railroad ballast, landscaping and architectural stone.

Virginia: 21A, 21B, 25, 26
Varying in size from the consistency of powder to about an inch, these grades get best results when compacted in place. Commonly used as sub-base and base for highways, roads, driveways and parking lots. Also suitable as select backfill, road shoulder material and under concrete curb and gutter.

Virginia: 5, 6, 57, 56 & 68
Versatile for a variety of commercial and residential uses, including as an asphalt course-base mix, touch up for stone driveways or use in ready-mix concrete. Other applications include septic fields, bedding for large pipes, filter stone, dry wells, concrete slab bedding and residential drainage.

Used in asphalt surface-course mixes, and as treatment for road or driveway surfaces, under drain in highway construction, roofing stone, pipe bedding and a variety of landscaping and architectural applications.

Finely graded for use in pathways and walkways as well as tennis courts, bicycle trails, horse rings, stables and barns. Also excellent as ice and snow traction grit, as backfill for underground cable and storage tank bedding, in slurry seal and asphalt mixes and concrete block.
