William R. Chenault

Vice President, Southern Region

William “Billy” Chenault brings his passion for developing new markets and people to his role as Vice President for Luck Stone’s Southern Region, which includes Richmond and South Hampton Roads.  Chenault was instrumental in the Company’s entrance into the sand and gravel business as well as expanding its reach into North Carolina and the growing South Hampton Roads’ marketplace. He is also currently responsible for the Charlottesville and Greene market areas. 
 
Chenault’s knowledge and experience provide valuable insight as Luck continues to focuses on leadership development, strategy alignment, financial health, capital allocation, growth strategy, culture and brand. He began his career in 1985 as a Luck Stone Sales Representative and held this position until 1993 when he became a Regional Sales Manager. In that role, his responsibilities included new business development for Luck Stone Mulch and Topsoil, which evolved into Luck Specialty Products.
 
Chenault served as chairman of the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance’s Marketing Committee. A graduate of Elon College with a B.S. in Business Administration, Chenault currently serves as a Board Member for both the Richmond Area Municipal Contractors Association (RAMCA) and the Virginia Ready-mix Contractors Association (VRMCA).
