Charles S. Luck, III is a distinguished and honored businessman, serviceman, and civic leader born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. He graduated from Virginia Military Institute in 1955 and began his career with the company after serving for two years in the United States Air Force. In 1965 he became President of Luck Stone Corporation and led the company through three decades of expansion, technological advancement, and environmental stewardship. Today he serves as Chairman of Luck Companies and continues to participate in the community through various civic and non-profit organizations. Charles has also held numerous leadership positions in many of the industry trade associations and was instrumental in raising the environmental standards of the aggregates industry.
