From its beginnings as Sunnyside Granite Company in 1923 to the multi-divisioned corporation of today, Luck Stone Corporation has become an industry leader through sound planning, innovative thinking and hard work. The company has grown and prospered over the years, but has never lost sight of it’s founder’s commitment to honesty, integrity, quality and people.

Construction Aggregates
The Construction Aggregates (ConAgg) Division is focused on producing and distributing aggregate and specialty products throughout Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina. ConAgg operates in three regions and includes crushed stone quarries and sand and gravel quarries, as well as topsoil, mulch and specialty materials businesses. The Support Services Division falls within ConAgg, but provides a range of services throughout the corporation, including engineering (mining, electrical, design, facilities and process), construction and technical services (such as equipment management and purchasing). The Solutions Group also falls within ConAgg and supports multiple ConAgg initiatives, including quality management and technical support, sales support and research, and the development of new solutions for Luck Stone and our customers.

Design Recreation Services
The Design Recreation Division is composed of the Architectural Stone Division (ASD) and Lee Tennis. ASD operates architectural stone centers in Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina, and granite fabrication facilities in Virginia, supplying hundreds of unique stone products for architectural, commercial and retail customers. Lee Tennis produces and sells surfacing material and maintenance equipment for tennis courts worldwide; Lee dominates the clay court surfacing market nationally.

Finance & Administration
Finance & Administration is comprised of four departments: Accounting Customer Service, Financial Analysis & Budgeting, and Oracle Systems Administration. The division supports Luck Stone's financial, budgetary and business planning needs in a number of ways, including preparing customer invoices, distributing financial statements, preparing tax returns and assisting the Business Units in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Information Technology
This division provides support to the corporation in three areas: application development, business analysis and systems support. The division works closely with ConAgg and Design Recreation on the enhancement of business systems and the development of customer solutions, and provides support for all of Luck Stone's technology needs.

Human Resources & Organizational Development
HR/OD works with locations on hiring, personnel and policy issues, and also provides training and internal communications support for the corporation.

Marketing
The Marketing Division is responsible for positioning and promoting the Luck Stone brand. It works closely with all of Luck Stone's businesses to create and implement effective marketing and sales strategies through market research, promotional work, pricing analysis, the Internet, and public relations.

Risk Management
Risk Management provides support with environment, health and safety issues to Luck Stone's operations, and focuses on insurance management, liability concerns, environmental management, safety and health programs, and On Time Aviation Services (company airplane) at the corporate level.

Strategic Development
Strategic Development supports the corporation with short- and long-term strategic planning, assists business units with their strategic needs, and manages Aggregate Research Industries, a Luck Stone partnership. Luck Properties, which manages commercial development and other property-related activities for the corporation, also falls under the responsibility of the Strategic Development Division.

Real Estate
The Real Estate Division manages a variety of Luck owned properties, supports the needs of related property users, assists associates covered by corporate relocation policy, and supports the real estate needs of Luck Stone's business units.
