Rebecca Bryant

Rebecca, a Geology major, from Radford University, joined Luck Stone 3 years ago, as a summer associate. She worked at our Boscobel quarry for 3 summers, and returned after graduation to join Luck full-time as a Foreman Trainee. We are proud to have Rebecca working with us at our Elkton, VA location! When asked why she chose Luck Stone over other companies in the industry, Rebecca energetically responds, "The People! They are eager to teach me everything I need to be a successful leader. Everyone is easy to get along with and keeps company goals in mind, especially . . . SAFETY, both in, and out, of the workplace!"
Nathan Duryea

Nathan, a Virginia Tech Mining and Minerals Engineering graduate, hasn’t always worked for Luck Stone. He spent a summer working with another crushed stone producer, but chose Luck Stone as his employer of choice! We are thrilled to have Nathan working as a Foreman Trainee at our Pittsboro, NC quarry. Nathan says that "I chose a career with Luck Stone because the operations are organized, the environment is team oriented, and with the family atmosphere I don’t feel like a number. I’m a part of this company and my contributions make it successful!"
Jeff Allaman

A proud Penn State graduate, Jeff Allaman has been with Luck Stone for 2 years, as a Foreman Trainee. We are proud to say that although Jeff had worked summers for several other materials producers, not for Luck Stone, we were his first choice when looking to start his career in mining! Jeff chose Luck for several reasons. "Not only are the compensation and benefits packages outstanding, the variety of quarry sizes and the progressive use of technology and plant automation, allow me to be exposed to so many diverse learning opportunities. These are things I wouldn’t find at other companies, and my career will benefit immensely as a result!"
Roger Levesque

Roger came to Luck Stone in 2002, as a student intern. He worked with the Luck Central Services Department 8-12 hours each week, while he was enrolled at J Sergeant Reynolds Community College, in the Diesel Technology program. He had been referred to Luck Stone by others in his program, and took the initiative to approach us about a position in our mobile equipment shop. After just a few months, Roger was offered a full-time position with the Mobile Equipment Department. Roger says that the working environment at Luck Stone, the associates he works with, Luck's commitment to training, and the great benefits package, are all reasons he has chosen to take on a full-time opportunity with Luck Stone!
