How long have you worked for Luck Stone?
Summers in 1994-97; Full time since 1999.

Describe your experience at Luck Stone.
I worked summers while I was an undergraduate student. First I did landscaping work, and then I moved to Human Resources. In addition to gaining real-world experience that I couldn't get in a classroom, Luck Stone offered me a great alternative to the typical, low-paying jobs that many students have. After joining the company full-time, I pursued my master's degree, and Luck Stone supported me in many ways, including tuition reimbursement.

What makes the company different from other places where you might work?
When I talk to other training professionals, I find that I have a huge amount of flexibility around the work that I do. There's another important difference: Training and Development is truly valued here. It's recognized as an important part of the business-and that feels really good, because not everyone in my field feels valued in that way.
